SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Lou Evans was a promising young athlete from Milpitas High School with a real chance at becoming a professional baseball player. It wasn’t until after a short stint on the San Jose City College baseball roster that the left-handed pitcher got his shot at Major League Baseball stardom.
